It’s always a good day when Zach Top uploads an acoustic video to his YouTube channel.
Just a couple weeks ago, the 28 year-old singer/songwriter debuted a new song at Under The Big Sky Fest titled “Good Girls & Cowgirls.” Three days later, he took to social media to officially announce the song’s release date of August 21st.
Just two days after that, Top revealed he would be dropping not one, but two new songs that Friday. And if that wasn’t enough, he also revealed he would be adding both tracks, “Good Girls & Cowgirls,” and “Other Side Of Hurtin'” to a limited edition 7 inch vinyl that is currently available for preorder on Zach’s website
With the release of both songs still three weeks away, the “South of Sanity” singer uploaded an acoustic performance video of “Good Girls & Cowgirls” for fans to memorize the words to now. And from the moment he opens his mouth to mutter the first couple lines, “Cotton Eyed Joe’s Friday night, what you drinkin’ baby I’ll buy,” it’s pretty apparent Top has another 90’s-leaning hit on his hands.
