A massive hit.
Zach Bryan has become one of the biggest Country singers in the world and his rise and dominance in the genre doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
According to @chartdata on Twitter, Zach Bryan’s “Something In The Orange” has now spent a massive 65 total charting weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, becoming the longest-charting Country song in history.
The artist who previously held that record was Carrie Underwood with “Before He Cheats,” at 64 total weeks.
The 4x platinum certified single moved up three spots this week and now holds the 18th position. Chart rankings for the Hot 100 are based on sales (physical and digital), online streaming, and radio play in the U.S. for songs from every genre.
Although there isn’t a specific date as of this moment, Bryan has announced his new album will drop some time next mont in August. From what we know thus far, there’s only supposed to be 11 songs, compared to the 34 on his last record, and there will be a live version of “Dawns,” the collaboration that featured Maggie Rogers.
