Slow news day.
Love or hate Morgan Wallen, you cannot deny that the “Last Night” singer keeps his personal life fairly quiet. Whether it’s his relationship with fellow star, Megan Moroney, or the countless rumors surrounding his dating life in Nashville, he’s never opened up much about himself outside of the studio.
With that being said, however, it seems like none other than NFL quarterback, Jay Cutler’s ex-wife and reality TV star, Kristin Cavallari, took it upon herself to reveal some details about her brief relationship with the superstar today, appearing on Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo’s podcast, Dumb Blonde Podcast,
When asked about her dating life (and more specifically Wallen), Cavallari recalled her first date with the superstar, “He’s very sweet. The first date we went on, he was a true gentleman. He was like, ‘I’ll pick you up. I’ll pick the place.’ He picked me up; he met my kids. My kids were so excited. It was so cute.”
She then shared some specifics of the date, “He got us a private room. He had his bodyguard or what not, dropped me off. He kissed me in the rain, and it was like the sweetest thing. And then we hung out there after.”
Though she hasn’t talked to Wallen in over a year, Cavallari said that she has “nothing but good things” to say about the 31-year-old singer/songwriter. However, she did note that there was one thing about the relationship that surprised her: Wallen’s nonchalant demeanor.
After Bunnie jokingly said that she heard Wallen hurt her feelings, the reality TV star said, “He didn’t hurt my feelings. I’ll be honest with you, Morgan was the first guy in my entire f*cking life that wasn’t completely enamored with me. And I was like, ‘What in the f*ck is going on?! It really threw me.”
Bunnie quickly replied saying that it was probably because Wallen had “20 other girlfriends” in Nashville. Cavallari agreed and said, “I love having the upper hand, and I feel like, with him, I didn’t have the upper hand. Only time in my life, so it really f*cked with me.”
Cavallari would later say that she was never looking for anything serious in the relationship, “Quite honestly, I kinda just wanted a f*ck buddy in Nashville.”
Bunny quickly added, “Morgan seems to be the guy that wants to step up to the plate to be people’s f*ck buddy.”
The pair then moved on to the topic of whether or not Wallen is romantic, and things got interesting, to say the least. Cavallari replied with a loud “umm,” saying a lot with no words at all before Bunny remarked, “I’ve heard he’s great in bed.” She confirmed the rumor by simply saying, “He was good in bed.”
After a year that included an arrest, a CMA Entertainer of the Year award win and multiple broken records, it’s hard to say what’s been the most surprising headline involving Wallen’s name, but this very well might take the cake.
