    A star in the making…

Over the past three days, Oliver Anthony came out of nowhere and absolutely blew up on social media with his incredible song, “Rich Men North Of Richmond.“

The viral track, released on August 9th through radiowv’s Youtube account, sends a powerful message to the rich politicians in D.C. and Anthony’s vocals give the message the honesty and conviction it needs.

    “I’ve been selling my soul
    Working all-day
    Overtime hours, bullshit pay
So I can sit out here
    And waste my life away.”

After racking up millions of views and likes, the Virginia native took to Tiktok tonight to humbly address his fans after going No. 1 on iTunes, all genre, and to provide some updates on what’s to come next.

“The social media is gonna be a little bit slow. Things aren’t just gonna happen overnight cause I’m not rushing into this. Like, I’m not rushing into a bunch of paperwork.”

Anthony also revealed he put together a last minute show in North Carolina at the Morris Farm Market, set to take place this Sunday, the 13th, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. And if you take the time to drive out to hear him live, he promised to stay late to meet every fan in return.

“I will stay until 2:30 a.m. if I have to…I promise if you show up, if you are willing to come and listen to me, I am willing to stay and listen to you. I’m gonna shake your hand. I wanna hear what you have to stay, I wanna hear your story. This is not about me, this is about you.”

Already a man of the people.

Watch the TikTok video, as well as the original video of Rich Men North Of Richmond, which has now racked up a massive 2.5 million views in just three days, below.
