How has it been almost three years already? Fresh off the massive success of his sophomore studio record, “Dangerous: The Double Album,” and the video “controversy” that ensued shortly there after, Morgan Wallen uploaded a video of him performing “Sand In my Boots” with his good buddy and co-writer on the track, HARDY, as well as one of the coolest dudes in all of country; Eric Church. Sippin’ on wine and Coors Light longnecks, the trio stripped down the 2021 hit with nothing but a few acoustic guitars and a small audience that featured ole Darius Rucker chillin’ on the…

A big ole hit. Chris Stapleton has officially earned his fourth #1 song at country radio with “White Horse.” The lead single off his most recent album, “Higher,” White Horse was written by Stapleton and Dan Wilson, and is one of the more rockin’ songs included on the 14-track record. ‘Throwback Thursday. Four years ago, George Strait and Miranda Lambert took the stage together at the 54th Academy Of Country Music Awards to perform Strait’s 2001 hit, “Run.” Run was written by Anthony Smith and Tony Lane and was released as the lead single from George’s twenty-first studio album, “The Road Less Traveled.” It debuted at at #36 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart and eventually soared to #2, just missing the top spot. Run is one of my personal favorite songs from The King (then again, I probably say that about 15 of his songs) but hearing fellow Texas…

Aw naw, guess he shouldn’t have had another shot of that patron… Last night, Chris Young was arrested outside of a Nashville bar after he allegedly assaulted a Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission agent. According to court documents, the 38 year-old country singer got into an altercation with TABC agents after a compliance check inside Tin Roof off Demonbreun St. Young, who was apparently “slurring his speech,” then followed the agents to the DawgHouse saloon, asking multiple questions while filming them. The officer reported that Young then “put his hands out to stop me from leaving the bar and struck me…
