I mean, at this point, is it really a shock? According to Chart Data, a widely followed music-news and chart provider, Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing At A Time” is currently the best-selling album of 2023 so far with 2.199 million units sold. Not only does he hold the top spot for the year, his 2021 release, “Dangerous”: The Double Album,” is the fifth best-selling album of the year, as well. At this point, Morgan has broken so many records the past two years that for one, I can barely keep up…and for two, it’s no really no surprise, considering his…

Earlier this month, William Clark Green stopped by the Jarrod Morris Vibe Podcast to discuss music, money, college, and a pretty interesting segment about Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum and the Texas Music Scene. Over the last few years, we’ve seen Parker McCollum and Koe Wetzel explode in popularity. From Koe inking a deal with Columbia Records, to Parker seeing his first No. 1 on Country radio back in Decemeber of ’20 with “Pretty Heart.” With all of that said, it appears it doesn’t always sit well with some (and probably few) in the Texas Country music scene. “Dude, I’m telling…

That chorus, though. This morning, Ernest took to twitter to share part of a brand new song, “Takes After You,” as well as some pretty cool insight on how he got the inspiration for it. “I heard someone talking to Johnny Cash in a video – they said “Johnny I’ve known ya a long time…. And I got a son now, and if he don’t take after Jesus… I’d be quite alright if he took after you” Ernest then goes on to say how it immediately made him think of his wife and two-year-old son, Ryman. “I couldn’t agree more…

These guys need to be on your radar. Today, the Huser Brothers released their new single, “No More,” and it’s DAMN good. Born and raised in Waco, TX, the band, consisting of Zach and Josh Huser, has been killing it in the independent scene, opening for acts such as Koe Wetzel, Parker McCollum and Aaron Watson. However, they still deserve a ton more attention than they receive. I first heard the group in 2019 and immediately took to the rockin’ sound of “Tired Of Runnin'” and “Missing You,” along with Josh’s killer vocals. Their sound has evolved since their 2018…

Today, Megan Moroney officially earned her first career Platinum single from the RIAA with “Tennessee Orange.” Written by Moroney, along with Ben Williams, David Fanning and Paul Jenkins, the song was first released on September 2nd of last year, right before the Volunteers defeated Georgia Tech, 42-41 in overtime. Tennessee Orange quickly blew up on Tik-Tok, and after much speculation, Megan did an interview with SiriusXM’s “The Highway,” where she confirmed that the Vols shirt she was wearing in her Instagram post was, in fact, Morgan Wallen’s shirt. Fast forward a few months and Megan is now signed to Sony…

Any day you wake up to new music from Reba and/or Brooks & Dunn, it’s gonna be a good one… To celebrate the songs 25th anniversary, Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn released a new, acoustic rendition of their 1998 classic, “If You See Him, If You See Her.” While the song was a massive success, (I mean, it features two of the best voices to ever exist in Country music so duh), it does seem to be one of those underrated songs you can forget about when mentioning 90’s classics. Both at almost 70 years old, Ronnie and Reba…
