It’s gonna be a Pardi (pun intended). Fresh off the release of his fifth studio album (and first in nearly three years), “Honkytonk Hollywood,” Jon Pardi took to social media this morning to announce an additional 16 new dates to his tour of the same name. Set to kick off next week in Lubbock, Texas, the original dates feature Corey Kent and Kassi Ashton, and include a three-show run in Canada as well as multiple dates in Arizona, Pennsylvania and Indiana. Noticeably absent from the first batch of dates AND the newly announced dates is Pardi’s home state of California.…

ANOTHER ONE (DJ Khaled voice). Earlier in the week, Morgan Wallen hopped on X (formerly known as Twitter) for the first time in ages to respond to a fan asking about one of his upcoming songs, “What I Want.” The X user was hoping to receive confirmation that the track will be Morgan’s first ever female duet, and the 31 year-old singer/songwriter responded with “Indeed.” Then Morgan teased another song from his upcoming album titled “Don’t We” when he announced his new mech collaboration with Mossy Oak on Instagram. And that if wasn’t enough, he also dropped a new live…
We need a studio version of this ASAP. It’s no secret that Chris Stapleton is widely viewed as one of the greatest country singers of all time. From his iconic cover of David Allan Coe’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” to his gut-wrenching emotion on the upbeat, “Parachute,” the 46 year-old singer/songwriter’s soulful and bluesy vocals, mixed with that powerful signature rasp, puts just about every country singer before and after him to shame. Don’t agree with me? That’s fine, we’re all entitled to our own opinions. But Parker Mccollum takes my side on this topic and that’s just about all the validation…

Headlining this year will be Riley Green, The Red Clay Strays, Whiskey Myers and of course, Darius Rucker. Other names featured on the bill include Flatland Cavalry, Dylan Marlowe, Lukas Nelson, Neon Union, Kashus Culpepper, Bill Murray (yes, THAT Bill…
Two legends, one stage. Back in January of 2019, a plethora of some of country music’s biggest artists all took the stage to honor Willie Nelson for a once-in-a-lifetime concert event titled, Willie: Life & Songs of an American Outlaw. Taking place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, the historic event featured performances from Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, Jamey Johnson, Jason Isbell, Jimmy Buffett, Sturgill Simpson, Sheryl Crow and more, but perhaps one of the most interesting performances of the night came when Willie was accompanied by George Strait to perform their collaboration, “Sing One with Willie,” off The…
