Country music enthusiast and avid drinker of alcohol. Old Aldean is better than your favorite artist. (except for Zach Top)

I think it’s safe to say he’s here to stay… Over the weekend, Post Malone made several appearances all around Nashville for CMA Fest. From performing Joe Diffie’s “Pickup Man,” and then being gifted one of the late country singers old hats by Joe’s oldest grandson, to performing alongside Blake Shelton, it appears Post Malone’s country gig isn’t a fluke. Of course Post Malone has been flirting with country music for years, covering the likes of Sturgill Simpson, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson and more, to his recent collaboration with Morgan Wallen on “I Had Some Help.” And on Friday, the…

Another shakeup in the coaching panel. This morning, NBC officially announced the four coaches who will be propped up in the big red chairs when ‘The Voice’ returns to television next spring. The country music community was left shocked, mourning the loss of an icon that had blessed our ears with hit-after-hit for just over three decades. Even though I knew about your battle these last few months I still never imagined this day. Anyone who knew you knows what I…
