Eight months after his tragic accident in Nashville, the charges against country music artist Conner Smith have officially been dropped. This past June, Smith was involved in a devastating incident in which he struck and killed a pedestrian on Third Avenue North at around 7:30 pm. The victim, 77, Dorothy Dobbins, was rushed to the hospital, where she unfortunately later passed away. The fatality marked a heavy year for the 25-year-old “Take It Slow” singer, who later addressed the incident in an Instagram post, stating, “Not a day has gone by that I haven’t grieved, prayed, and mourned for Ms.…

The Wyatts are dominating as one of the best new releases of this year so far. Or, as I like to call them, “Wyatt squared.” After some light teasing this past week, the rising artist pairing of Waylon Wyatt and Wyatt Flores dropped their collaborative single, “Didn’t Forget,” today, and it’s a must-listen. Blending their red dirt roots and drawing on influences from Arkansas and Texas, respectively, the pair create a western sound that feels like a perfect match. Flores, who has been spending the past few days in Australia for his Bucking Bin Chicken tour, recently sat down with…
Another Nashville restaurant bites the dust. Downtown Nashville is constantly evolving, with new bars and restaurants opening at a rapid pace. Just yesterday, Kane Brown announced that his new bar will be opening this summer, while longtime favorites like Acme Feed & Seed and many others continue to struggle under rising property taxes. Amidst the city’s shifting landscape, the latest casualty appears to be Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean’s joint restaurant, E3 Chophouse. On Thursday, February 19, the fine-dining establishment took to social media to announce that they’re “hitting pause,” which is never a positive sign for future longevity. In…
Someone pour me up another shot of apple juice. No, unfortunately, those aren’t the real lyrics to this cover track, but they should have been. Kidz Bop has done it again by turning one poorly written song into an even more poorly written song. This time, the victim being Shaboozey’s 2024 hit, “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” The popular kids parody recording company recently released their version earlier this month, on February 6. Before its release, Senior Vice President Michael Anderson sat down with Parade magazine for a full divulge on the 25th anniversary album that just dropped. Given its undeniable…
Riley Green’s reign for “Sexiest Country Star Alive” will sadly come to an end at some point in 2026. Although he’ll forever be a fan favorite man crush for many, unfortunately, his title, voted on by a readers’ choice poll and named by People Magazine, is going to be dethroned. This past October, the Alabama-bred singer-songwriter was chosen amongst his competitors, Cody Johnson, Shaboozey, and Warren Zeiders. In a recent interview with Rob Stone and Holly Hutton from Totally Private, hosted by Audacy, of course, the question of Green’s legacy was brought up. Before hitting the stage at Hard Rock…
This is the type of performance that warrants a raised hand in the air, praising along while watching. Joining forces in celebration of the upcoming release of the new film, I Can Only Imagine 2, Trace Adkins joined Christian band, MercyMe, on stage at the Grand Ole Opry last Friday, February 13. A week ahead of the film’s theater debut, in light of the movie’s namesake, they performed MercyMe’s 2001 track, “I Can Only Imagine.” In celebration of the upcoming film I Can Only Imagine 2, Trace Adkins joined Christian band MercyMe on stage at the Grand Ole Opry last…
