Talk about a whiplash moment.
I’m not sure what side of Twitter/X everyone finds themselves on, because for some, scrolling through the feed and stumbling upon a close-up of someone’s entire backside might just be a normal Tuesday. But if you’re anything like me, and your feed is more accustomed to breaking news and people’s random shower thoughts, you can imagine my surprise when I came across a zoomed-in photo of Ella Langley’s “peach” staring right back at me.
The post in question came from none other than TMZ, the celebrity gossip outlet notorious for its clickbait headlines and, well, occasionally outlandish attempts to grab your attention. This time around, the outlet decided to dig up a photo of the “Choosin’ Texas” superstar from April 2025, when she shared a snowy bikini shot from behind during her vacation in Banff, Canada.
Rather than reposting the original photo, though, TMZ took things a step further, cropping the image to focus solely on Langley’s backside before sharing it with the caption, “Guess The Country Singer Flashing Her Peach.
While Langley had yet to reach the worldwide stardom she’d later achieve with her aforementioned chart-topping hit, released the following October, the original vacation post still managed to make quite the rounds. Even Bunnie XO, Jelly Roll’s Ex-wife, chimed in at the time, so graciously pointing out, “I had no idea Ella was caked up like this.”
With that in mind, as a true Langley fan since day 1, I obviously guessed the peach right off the bat— but that’s beside the point.
Plenty of social media users were just as taken aback by TMZ’s decision to plaster such an oddly specific, zoomed-in shot of the country star across their feeds. The post has since racked up more than 2.2 million views on X, with nearly 200 replies, many of which are calling out the outlet for its questionable choice of content:

There were, of course, also many users who played into the bit, taking turns at guessing the most outlandish country stars they could:

Now, in TMZ’s defense, or potentially at the risk of calling them out for copying, this concept is nothing new. Back in the day, none other than Barstool Sports made a whole segment out of “GTA,” aka “Guess That A**,” where they would post celebrities’ and models’ backsides, later leading to some legal issues after they posted one too many unauthorized paparazzi photos.
And while I can’t say I’m particularly thrilled about poor Ella’s backside being exploited for a few million clicks, I guess that’s one bizarre way to measure your level of fame? Unfortunately, you know you’ve officially made it when your vacation bikini photos somehow qualify as headlines in the daily news.
