Following yesterday’s massive announcement of the upcoming release of Cody Johnson’s next album, Banks Of The Trinity, his staple track “‘Til You Can’t” is also getting another wave of recognition.

The October 2021 song written by Ben Stennis and Matt Rogers has officially amassed a new achievement, going 6x platinum certified by the RIAA. The feat comes a year after it hit 5x platinum in April of 2025.

Per the Recording Industry Association of America, this accomplishment means that Johnson’s chart-topping hit has sold six million units (in the United States alone). 1 Unit essentially equates to one paid download or 150 on-demand streams for the single.

The track, originally released from his eighth studio album, Human: The Double Album, had massive success within its first year, winning both the CMA awards for Single of the Year and Video of the Year in 2022 and a Grammy for Best Country Song at the 65th award show in 2023. Almost five years after its release, it saw a fast resurgence in streaming and on the charts, rising to the number one spot on all genres after Kid Rock performed (and released) his own rendition at the TPUSA alternate half-time show.

As the 38-year-old Texas-native heads into this new era of music, he also raked in an additional 13 new certifications across his past hit songs and albums. Three of Johnson’s albums made the list, along with his fan-favorite cover of “Travelin’ Soldier” and the subsequent second release from the same double album, “God Bless The Boy (Cori’s Song).” As of today, here are Johnson’s latest RIAA certifications:

    • ‘Til You Can’t: 6x Platinum
    • The Painter: 3x Platinum
    • Dirt Cheap: 2x Platinum
    • Human: 2x Platinum
    • Nothin’ On You: 2x Platinum
    • Human The Double Album: Platinum
    • Ain’t Nothin’ To It (Album): Platinum
    • Leather (Album): Platinum
    • Ain’t Nothin’ To It: Platinum
    • The Fall: Platinum
    • God Bless The Boy (Cori’s Song): Gold
    • By Your Grace: Gold
    • Fenceposts: Gold
    • Travelin’ Soldier: Gold

With the release of his tenth studio album about two months away on June 26, in the meantime, the country music superstar will continue out on his Live ’26 tour, returning to the road this Saturday, April 18, in St. Louis, Missouri. Joined by Parker McCollum, Clint Black, Randy Houser, Kip Moore, Ian Munsick, and Scotty McCreery, he’ll round out this exciting year of heavy touring and lots of new music to come on November 5 in Dublin.
