It’s been quite the day for Corey Kent.
Just hours after announcing his newest album, Blacktop, a 10-track record slated for a June 2nd release, Kent dropped another new song, Something’s Gonna Kill Me. The track is the fifth single off of the upcoming album, containing his smash hit, Wild As Her. This comes just over a week after Kent’s announcement of the track on April 6, citing it as “probably the most excited I’ve ever been about a new song…”
The album announcement shouldn’t come as a surprise to fans of Kent. On March 29, he took to Twitter saying, “Feels like a good year for an album…” Less than three weeks after, he made an official announcement of the album on all platforms.
