Always a good day when Dylan Wheeler drops new tunes.
Today, the Broke Ass Kid singer dropped his brand new song, titled “Outcast Crowd.”
The track, written By Dylan, as well as Philip Mosley and David Ray Stevens, is an ode to all those people who don’t necessarily fit in with your regular ordinary do-gooders, yet don’t seem to give a sh*t.
If you’ve been a Wheeler fan for some time, or just like the rockin’ sound coming out of Texas, this one should be right up your alley.
Here’s a look at some of the lyrics:
“Lately my names been in your mouth so tell me hows it taste, bi*ch?”
“Hell yeah my truck smells like weed, hell yeah my bills are paid / Your mom says I taste like whiskey, I must be doing okay.”
Not only is Dylan singing about being in the outcast crowd, but he just so happened to drop it on a Wednesday to celebrate his birthday when 99% of artists drop new music on Fridays, further displaying he does things his own way.
Last night, Dylan posted a short “promo” video to social media just hours before the songs release that, if anything, should give you a good laugh:
Dylan released his debut album, “Times Are Changing,” back in February of 2022. With the two year mark right around the corner, we should (hopefully) be due for a sophomore album announcement soon.
