Was beginning to think this may never happen again…
At 71 years old, George Strait is apparently back in the studio cookin’ up something for his fans.
Tony brown, who is known for producing some of the top artists in Country music such as Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, and yep…George Strait, recently shared a photo of The King to his Facebook page saying this:
“New Music from GEORGE STRAIT.”
Among the different team members pictured above, you can see Chris Stapleton included in the photo. Whether this means he’s just involved with the project or that there’s a collaboration in the works, we don’t know yet. But the two recently announced nine new stadium shows together with Little Big Town for 2024 so it’s not a complete surprise to see the two working together in another capacity.
It’s been four years since George released his last studio album, “Honky Tonk Time Machine,” and at this point in his career, I don’t think he has anything left to prove other than just giving back to the fans. And we’ll gladly take it.
