After nearly a full year of rumors of whether or not Riley Green and Ella Langley were dating due to their extended tour together, the success of “you look like you love me” and appearances seemingly everywhere, it seems as if internet detectives have now shifted their focus to Riley Green and another one of the genre’s biggest stars.
Three days ago, Megan Moroney took to Instagram to share a selfie from her trip to Saint-Jean, Saint Barthélemy, in the Caribbean. Seems like a fairly innocuous post right? Well, not to some fans.
Around the time Moroney made her post, Riley Green shared some photos to his Instagram story highlighting his own beach vacation. And once again, nothing seems incredibly noteworthy.
All of this didn’t stop the aforementioned internet detectives, however. Using some reverse image searching, TikTok users, Lauren Condon and Lori Goolsby, did some digging on Riley Green’s stories. What resulted was images of the same exact outside setup in Green’s story which is located at, you guessed it, Saint Barthélemy.
If I had to guess, a lot of these rumors and internet sleuthing have to stem from Green and Moroney’s performance of Green’s “Don’t Mind If I Do” together in Fort Lauderdale back on November 14, but knowing how the internet operates, it probably wouldn’t even have mattered as long as it pulls in views.
It should go without saying that this is not in any way confirming or denying that the two are dating. Hell, I could honestly care less what artists are doing in their personal lives. With that being said, it’s pretty amazing (and entertaining) how far fans will go to try to figure out what’s going on in their favorite artists’ lives.
Hats off to Lauren and Lori for some solid internet detective work, though.
