Fresh off of the release of his brand new single, “Surrounded,” Koe Wetzel is hosting his own benefit concert to battle the devastating effects of 4th of July floods in central Texas. Following in the footsteps of fellow Lone Star artists such as George Strait, Pat Green, Cody Johnson, Parker McCollum and more, the “Ragweed” singer has just announced “Stronger Together: An Evening For Texas & Flood Relief.”
Taking place on Monday, August 4th, the benefit concert will be held at The Pavillion at Toyota Music Factory in Iriving, Texas.
Wetzel is bringing along an all-star cast of Texas artists including but not limited to Shane Smith (of Shane Smith & the Saints), Casey Donahew, Kolby Cooper, Ray Wylie and Lucas Hubbard, Pecos Hurley (of Pecos & the Rooftoops), Dylan Wheeler and Mike Ryan.
In partnership with Raising Canes, Rock & Roll Denim, and Outlaw Beer, all proceeds from the show will go towards Kerr County Flood Relief. Additionally, an on-site silent auction will be held on site to raise more money for relief efforts.
If you cannot attend the concert, you can donate to Wetzel’s community foundation, Koe’s Kids. Originally founded to inspire and promote creative and artistic education for children, all donations for Koe’s Kids will directly benefit the aforementioned Kerr County Flood Relief Foundation from today (July 25) to August, 15.
Touching on the importance of the effort, Wetzel said, “Texas is home – these floods hit our neighbors hard and they need our help. Music has a way of bringing people together, and I’m grateful to my friends who immediately raised their hands to help when we called. This benefit concert is our way of standing with the people of Texas and doing whatever we can to make a difference as our great state rebuilds.”
Presale is live now with the code, KOE25, now on Wetzel’s website.
