Just hours before he was set to open up for HARDY on the opening night of his Jim Bob World Tour in Chula Vista, California, Koe Wetzel took to Instagram to announce that he will not be performing due to a family medical event.
In an Instagram post, the Texas native told fans, “Unfortunately due to a family medical event, I’ve got to get back to Texas. We hate to miss this first weekend of the JimBob World Tour with our brother HARDY, so make sure y’all show Stephen Wilson Jr. & McCoy Moore all the love. Hoping to get back out next week and party with y’all in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thanks for understanding. Much love and see you soon. – Koe.”
Though the “High Road” singer obviously did not state what the medical emergency was about, many fans are speculating that he’s making the trip back to Texas to see the birth of his child.
In case you missed it, Wetzel’s longtime girlfriend, Bailey Fisher, took to Instagram back on January 31st to announce that the two were expecting their first child. In the Instagram caption, Fisher said,“Our sweetest blessing. Just over halfway with the baby girl.” Going off of a typical nine-month pregnancy cycle, the timing does add up incredibly well given that Fisher made the post nearly four months ago.
As mentioned previously, this is all purely speculative; however, it did not stop fans from taking to the comments to make note of the convenient timing of everything.
“It’s baby timeeee”
“Dad mode engaged 👊“
“IS IT BABY TIME?!”
“Is it baby Wetzel time?? 🩷“
“if it’s baby time praying so hard for a smooth delivery for @baileyfshr She’s gonna be gorgeous! Can’t wait to see! 🩷🩷🩷🩷”
“I hope I’m seeing baby pictures soon”
“The baby!!! prayers for you guys!! 🙏“
Wetzel has yet to publicly make an announcement on the pregnancy on both his music and personal social media pages; however, he has seemingly been present with Fisher every step of the way. Recently, he was alongside her at their baby shower on April 23rd.
