Happy Koe Day.
Today isn’t just any ol’ regular day, it’s a day where country and rock fans, alcoholics and pot-heads, taco-bell lovers, people of Texas and beyond, and well…all of us on social media, come together to celebrate the drunken actions made by Koe Wetzel on this date 8 years ago.
And to celebrate the infamous holiday, the Texas-rocker made “Noise Complaint,” the album that the popular song is featured on, available on vinyl for the first time ever. If you’re anything like me, you’re always trying to add good music to your vinyl collection, so of course I went and purchased it.
Almost an hour later I received an email that there was a problem with my order (which by the way, was a great marketing plan to make sure I opened the message) and when I did, I was able to listen to a brand new unreleased song from Koe, titled “Damn Near Normal.”
While there has been no official release date for the track yet, fans who didn’t purchase the song can also hear a teaser on his YouTube channel, which we’ve embedded for you below. Cheers.
