Returning to the road after the back-to-back release of his anticipated album, The Night Champion, followed by its extended deluxe counterpart, Koe Wetzel’s coinciding North American tour has finally begun.
Prior to the project’s June 12 drop, the Texas native headed down under for a string of three Australian shows in early May. Now, with 16 fresh tracks to celebrate throughout the loaded North American leg of the tour, fans were eager to see how the set list would change up.
Finally, almost a month later, we have a glimpse into what’s to come for the remaining forty-plus dates after last night’s July 8 kickoff in Edmonton, Canada. Hitting the stage at Rogers Place arena, the “Hurts Like You” singer delivered an 18-song set, which, in comparison to the tour’s initial 22-song set in Australia, seems a bit abbreviated.
Joined on the road by the likes of Wyatt Flores, Ole 60, Shane Smith & The Saints, Corey Kent, Wade Bowen, and more, Wetzel kept the setlist fairly diverse amongst his top hits. After all, it wouldn’t be a Koe concert without the classics like “Drunk Driving,” “February 28, 2016,” and the more recent radio hit, “High Road.”
As for material from the new album, he played a few of the more popular singles like “Hurts Like You” and “Time Goes On” along with the latest drop, “Circus,” which he recently mentioned in an interview with 93.7 country radio was one of the songs he was most excited to play on tour. In the clip, he also notes that the tour has more surprises to come, including performances of “some other stuff that we haven’t released.”
The 33-year-old singer-songwriter is also no stranger to whipping out a few covers on stage, so there’s bound to be more mix-ups to the set list as the tour progresses, with things wrapping up on October 30 with a home-state show in Lubbock, Texas.
With that being said, while artists have been known to switch up the songs on a city-to-city basis, in general, here’s what to expect from Koe throughout the rest of the 2026 Night Champion tour:
