For the broadway girls…
After solidifying himself as the biggest artist in country music in 2023, Morgan Wallen took to social media today to announce that his new bar, This Bar and Tennesee Kitchen is coming to downtown Nashville at some point this summer.
The bar will be managed by Wallen and his team as well as TC Restaurant Group, the team behind Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Miranda Lambert’s bars.
It was rumored back in August of 2023 that the Last Night singer was planning on opening up a bar of his own located at 107 4th Ave North, which is near the Ryman Auditorium.
Flashforward to today, and the rumor became a reality.
In an interview with Nashville’s News Channel 5, Wallen said, “I sing about finding myself in ‘this bar’ and now it’s coming to life. This venue will hold true to everything I love and is inspired by my fans and the way they have embraced me and my music.”
He also added, “We’re designing a menu around some of my family favorites, so it brings a piece of East Tennessee to Music City. I hope This Bar is a place you’ll want to find yourself in and make memories with your friends and family and celebrate the way country music has brought us all together.”
As for the menu, it will be curated by Wallen and Chef Tomasz Wosiak, the Vice President of Culinary Development for TC Restaurant Group.
Adam Hessler, the President of TC Restaurant Group added, “Morgan Wallen is one of the most sought after stars in the music industry, and we are thrilled that he has trusted us to deliver a concept that will bring him closer to his fans, hold fast to his roots and enshrine his name among an exclusive group of artists who can claim international stardom with a Lower Broadway destination fans all over the world seek out.”
The bar will be located at 107 4th Ave South. It will feature six stories, three live music stages, six bars and an open-air rooftop.
Wallen joins the likes of Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and Florida Georgia Line, all of whom have bars in Nashville.
Luke Combs and Old Dominion are also planning on opening venues in Nashville with Combs’ Category 10 slated for a mid-2024 opening and Old Dominion’s ODIE’s slated for a summer opening.
