Being taken into the courtroom…
Morgan Wallen recently cancelled his concert in Oxford, Mississippi, right before he should’ve been taking the stage and after his openers had already performed. Many fans have expressed anger and frustration but one woman who attended the show actually filed a lawsuit against the Country singer. The case was recently voluntarily dismissed, but according to the law firm, it plans to refile the class action lawsuit with a new plaintiff in the coming days.
The original suit, filed by Brandi Burcham, alleges breach of contract and negligence by Wallen for not cancelling his concert in a timely manner. She stated that even though they are refunding the ticket costs themselves, she incurred other out-of-pocket expenses to attend the show that never happened.
The reason for the cancellation was due to Morgan losing his voice. He’s since rescheduled three more show dates due to doctor-ordered vocal rest.
