The biggest artist in all of Country music right now.
Today, Morgan Wallen received 8 new certifications from the RIAA and despite the main focus having been on his latest 36-song album, “One Thing At A Time,” all 8 of the new certs are from his 2021 release, “Dangerous: The Double Album.”
“Me On Whiskey,” “More Surprised Than Me,” “Wonderin’ Bout The Wind,” and his collaboration with Chris Stapleton, “Only Thing That’s Gone,” were all certified platinum, meaning each song has now sold at least a million units.
“865” has now gone 2x platinum, “Somebody’s Problem” 3x platinum, and “More Than My Hometown” is now officially certified 5x platinum.
The eighth certification, wrapping up all of the songs mentioned above, is a certification for the album itself, which has now sold over 6 million units as of July 13th, 2023.
On top of that, just six day ago Morgan Wallen received five new certifications for the following songs listed here.
With his popularity and the fact that there are 20 songs too many on both albums, I’m sure he’ll be receiving a lot more soon.
