It’s going to be a bad day to be a beer in Nashville this Memorial Day.
Tonight, during his sold-out show at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, Morgan Wallen officially announced that his new six-story bar, This Bar, will be opening its doors on Memorial Day weekend.
During a break in between songs, Wallen said, “It ‘s [‘This Bar’] open off 4th Avenue beside the Ryman, and it’s opening Memorial Day weekend, so I hope I see y’all there.”
The official Instagram account for This Bar also posted the announcement of its opening with the caption, “Find yourself in #ThisBar Memorial Day Weekend.”
This Bar will be located at 107 4th Ave South. It will feature six stories, three live music stages, six bars and an open-air rooftop, being managed by Wallen, as well as TC Restaurant Group, the team behind Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Miranda Lambert’s bars in Nashville.
In an interview with Nashville’s News Channel 5 back in February, Wallen said, “I sing about finding myself in ‘this bar’ and now it’s coming to life. This venue will hold true to everything I love and is inspired by my fans and the way they have embraced me and my music.”
He also added, “We’re designing a menu around some of my family favorites, so it brings a piece of East Tennessee to Music City. I hope This Bar is a place you’ll want to find yourself in and make memories with your friends and family and celebrate the way country music has brought us all together.”
