After an over 6-month hiatus from performing, Morgan Wallen officially stepped foot on stage again for an intimate show last night in celebration of his brand new SiriusXM station.

With the start of his official Still The Problem Stadium Tour now just a week away, kickstarting on April 10 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this crowd of about 4,000 SiriusXM subscribers was the perfect small-scale introduction for the exciting year to come for the Sneedville native. Excitingly, he delivered 16 songs, mostly from his 37-track project, I’m The Problem.

Ushering the night in with his most recent radio single, “Don’t We,” the chart topper followed with the album’s biggest hits from the title track to fan favorite “20 Cigarettes” as well as a few Wallen classics, exemplifying the same variety that will be featured on his Sirius station. He threw things back to his roots with the 2021 hit “More Than My Hometown” and tied out the night with one of his earliest successes from 2018, “Whiskey Glasses.”

Probably the best crowd-erupting throwback moment was the fourth song from the night, where he whipped out his third consecutive number one hit and fourth single from his 2018 album, “Chasin’ You.” The song has since become the epitome of summer and still has a stronghold on fans thanks to it’s ear worm qualities. The last time it was included on his setlist was at his 2023, One Night At A Time Tour.

He told the crowd, “We haven’t sung this song in a couple years, and I missed it last year, I missed playing it, so we gotta bring it back. It’s one of the first songs I ever wrote in my life.” By the sounds of the erupting echoes of voices singing along, and Wallen’s grin while playing, hopefully, this is an indication of a permanent addition to the 2026 tour setlist.

He also teased that while nothing is official yet, there’s certainly more to come from RIAA’s highest certified country artist. Recapping the last half of the year that he’s been reclused from the public eye, Wallen revealed the time off has been part R&R as well as an opportunity to get back to working on what’s next to come. “I’ve been hanging out with my family, hanging out in the woods a little bit, making a little bit of new music.”” He also told CMT broadcast personality Cody Alan that he’ll “start showing sneak peeks soon.“

He also noted that he’s amped to be returning to live shows, saying, “Every time I get on stage after a few months off, I think to myself, ‘Man, why did I take so much time off? ‘ Because I always enjoy being up here.” He expressed his gratitude to those in attendance and to Sirius for his brand new 24-hour music station, which is an exciting feat, joining the likes of artists Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, and Chris Stapleton. Reflecting on his insane climb to stardom, pacing the Pinnacle stage, he admitted, “I’m 32 years old, but I still feel 22 a lot of the times, man, it just seems like it, just yesterday that we were pulling up to clubs just like this.”

For those hoping to relive this special performance, they’ll be able to tune in next Tuesday, April 7, as the recording airs at 4 pm CT on Morgan Wallen Radio (channel 64). Likewise, this night is bound to be just the beginning for Wallen and his fans, with 23 dates to come on tour and hopefully a few future teasers of snippets to fuel lots more exciting news from the country music icon.

Morganwallen revealed that he’s working on new music and he’s ready to start teasing songs with sneak peeks on social media! 00 The country superstar shared the news with codyalan during a backstage interview at The Pinnacle, where Wallen performed a 16-song set for 4,000 siriusxm subscribers. The show commemorated the launch of his new exclusive year-round channel, Morgan Wallen Radio. Relive this special performance on launch day, April 7th at 4pm CT on Morgan Wallen Radio (channel 64) “I’ve been hanging out with my son, and making music… “‘m still in the early stages with it… I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do as far as this album, I think I’m at 7 or 8 singles right now. So it’s probably nearing the end for this album. I’m trying to figure that out. I’m at a place to where I’ll start showing little sneak peeks soon…” #MorganWallen #MorganWallenRadio #NewMusic #ImTheProblem #StillTheProblemTour
