The 2024 People’s Choice Award’s nominees are in.
Although People held their first ever Country awards back in October, their annual award show recognizing the entire entertainment industry is set to take place for the 49th straight year.
From music artists to actors, the People’s Choice awards highlights the most influential celebrities in pop culture and has been strictly fan voted since 2005.
The Male Artist Award of the Year award sees no boundaries in terms of genre, and includes Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs alongside Drake, Post Malone, Bad Bunny, Jung Kook, Jack Harlow and The Weeknd.
The Top Female Artist also sees Lainey Wilson next to Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Nicki Minaj and Karol G.
Jelly Roll is also included in New Artist, a category he won at the CMA Awards back in November.
“Last Night” by Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs’ cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” were both streaming monsters, so it’s no surprise to see them both nominated for Song of the Year alongside “Paint The Town Red” by Doja Cat and “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus. Both country artists are also nominated for Album and Top Tour of the Year.

Voting is now live here on People’s website. The awards show will air live on February 18th 8/7 central on NBC and Peacock.
