With CMA Fest just days away, Nashville is preparing for what can only be described as the biggest event of the year. With hundreds of artists making appearances throughout the festival’s four days, there were bound to be some surprises. And it looks like one of them is none other than a brand new artist getting their very own bar on Broadway.
Yesterday, signs reading “We’ll keep ya POSTED” and “Summer 2025” appeared directly next to Jason Aldean’s Bar, bearing the same font used throughout Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion tour and merchandise.
Taking a closer look, it seems as if Post Malone’s new bar will actually be located inside the same bustling area of Aldean’s bar on the first floor, which used to contain the Pittsburgh-based venue, Tequila Cowboy, located on 305 Broadway.
For hours, it remained unofficial, given that Post himself and TC Restaurant Group, the masterminds behind both Aldean and Morgan Wallen’s venue, This Bar, had yet to make an official announcement. Minutes ago, however, TC and the “I Had Some Help” singer confirmed that Post will become the newest artist to own a bar in Nashville.
It’s been confirmed that the bar, which is still unnamed, will be located on 305 Broadway. As for the layout, the venue will be 26,000 square feet and feature six bars, three stages, a full-service dining room, and a rooftop.
Though it is currently under construction, TC promises to “remaster the spaces, while preserving historical architecture, and combining them into one cohesive experience.” They also noted that Post’s venue will be Broadway’s largest ground floor footprint once fully completed.
In a press release, Post said, “We’ve created a space where everyone can come together and kick some ass. Nashville has really become a second home for me so I can’t wait to invite y’all over to my house.”
Adam Hesler, President and CEO of TC Restaurant Group, said, “Post Malone is one of the most influential and gravitational artists of our time, and we’re thrilled to partner with him on this exciting concept. We’re honored to work with someone as dynamic as he is and create a venue that embodies his spirit and brings a new experience to Nashville’s Entertainment District. There’s only one reason we would consider expanding our artist partnerships, and that is to have the ability to partner with someone of the caliber, innovation and authenticity of Post. His talent and ability to transcend multiple genres is one of a kind, and we look forward to creating a venue that resonates with his global fan base.”
Ever since he announced his venture into the genre, it’s been highly speculated just how long Post would stay in country music. While many believed this would be a one-off endeavor for the 29-year-old singer/songwriter, all signs point to him being a mainstay for the time being.
In fact, Malone confirmed with Billboard back in April that he’s made two separate trips to Nashville to record his new country project, ” [We] made probably 35 songs; it’s just a matter of which ones rock, and which ones sock.“
Between his current Big A** Stadium Tour, the upcoming album and the brand new bar, it’s safe to assume that Post is here to stay in country music, at least for the foreseeable future.
As of now, there is no confirmed name or opening date for the former rapper turned country star’s bar; however, it will be sometime this summer.
