One helluva performance.
Back in 2019, John Mayer surprised the crowd and brought out Chris Stapleton during his show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville to perform “Slow Dancing In A Burning Room” and to say it was amazing would be an understatement.
Slow Dancing In A Burning Room was released back in 2006 from Mayer’s “Continuum” album and although never officially released as a single, it is one of his most popular songs still to this day.
Mayer’s talent speaks for itself but we all know that anything Stapleton sings turns to gold. I mean, the phrase “they could sing the phone book and people would buy it” applies to very few artists but make no mistake, Chris is one of ’em.
