As the release of Ella Langley’s upcoming album, Dandelion, draws closer, the Alabama native transformed downtown Nashville into a full-blown flower shop experience for fans to get a live listen to some of the tracks.

The private pop-up at Jade & Clover greeted attendees with a flower truck outside along with the exterior of the building decked in hanging wall plants, as well as a DIY bouquet building station. After constructing dandelion-filled arrangements, fans could head inside for the spring-themed coffee bar, floral photo-ops, tons of Langley swag, and, most excitingly, an intimate performance from the event’s leading lady, of course.

Taking the small stage backed by a Dandelion tarp and greenery, Langley sang a few of the album’s leading singles alongside her acoustic band, including the title track,“Loving Life Again,” and obviously, her chart-topping history maker, “Choosin’ Texas.” The afternoon also led to a surprise performance of one brand new unreleased song, “Bottom of Your Boots.”

The groovy, sultry beat marks the ninth song on the tracklist and was accompanied by a maraca shaker in this first live rendition. The chorus sings the forewarning pre-relationship message to a potential lover:

If you’re gonna love me, lay it on the table, tell me how you really feel, give it a label. iIf you’re gonna hold me, go and just hold me all night, better hold me like you wanna hold me for the rest of your life. If you’re gonna love me better love me to the moon and back, from the bottom of your boots to the top of your hat

This song is already bound to be another fan-favorite addition to the highly anticipated project marking Langley’s sophomore album. The full tracklist of all 18 songs has also now been revealed via Spotify. There’s only one feature, “Butterfly Season,” fittingly with Miranda Lambert, who had a heavy hand in the production of this release and co-wrote Langley’s Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Choosin’ Texas.”

The twelfth track features a cover of Kitty Wells’ 1952, “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels,” which became the first number one Billboard country hit for a solo woman artist (paying homage to Langley’s own female-acclaimed feats). The iconic trio of Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, and Loretta Lynn also recorded their own rendition in 1993.

Interestingly, the album also begins and ends with the intriguingly named “Froggy Went A Courtin” intro/outro. Along with the last full track being an acoustic song, “Most Good Things Do.” Between this stellar performance and the curiosity behind hearing what these new titles sound like, April 10 can not come quickly enough, ushering in what is bound to be the summer of Ella Langley.
