Last night, Morgan Wallen took his headlining One Night At A Time tour to the Raymond James Stadium, and as always, the 31 year-old country star had a few surprises in store for the fans in attendance of the rescheduled Tampa show.
During his famous pre-show “walk out,” Wallen called upon the likes of Tampa Bay quarterback, Baker Mayfield, as well as retired professional wrestler, Hulk Hogan, and the crowd (as well as the internet) went nuts.
Of course, the world just witnessed Mayfield lose a stunner to Kirk Cousins and the Atlanta Falcons in primetime this past Thursday night, but it looks like the journeyman QB is shakin’ it off and choosing to have a little fun in the city he currently resides in and plays for.
After the show was over, the “Last Night” singer stuck around to sign some autographs and take some pictures in the pit while his crew began the clean up phase. As captured by Tiktok user @katieets, you can see fans all around holding up their signs and hats to get Morgan’s attention. But, the object that clearly stood out the most, was the big ole chair that some fan hauled in and shamelessly held up in the air as Morgan made his rounds.
If you are reading this, you should be well-aware of the “chair throwing” incident from April that got Wallen charged with multiple felony counts and a court hearing that is now scheduled for December 12th. And just in case you’ve been living under a rock, you can read that story here.
While I’m not sure if the brave fan ever got his chair signed (as the video only shares a few seconds of the encounter), I wouldn’t count on it. Morgan clearly sees the chair while bending over to hand a signed poster back to a fan, does a slight smirk, and does his best to ignore the guy.
Wallen might not have thought it was funny. But I sure did. Watch for yourself here:
