Just recently, Lee Brice posted a video on social media of him in front of his piano covering one of the most popular Worship songs of all time, “Oceans,” by Hillsong UNITED.
Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) was released in August of 2013 as the second single from the Australian bands album, “Zion.” The song is popular, even amongst people who don’t go to church often or listen to Christian music. Even after all these years, you’ll still find soundbites of the song on TikTok videos and worship teams everywhere playing it on Sunday’s.
I personally still love Lee Brice hits such as “I Drive Your Truck” and “Hard To Love,” so it’s pretty cool to see him cover another song that’s meant so much to so many people, myself included, over the past ten years.
The comments were full of fans asking for Lee to record a Country Christian album after it was posted, and as emotional as Brice can be when he performs, I think it could turn out well.
