Megan Moroney saw massive success in 2023, earning her first-ever No. 1 at country radio with her double platinum hit, “Tennessee Orange,” as well as the release of her debut studio album, “Lucky.” Seven months in to 2024, and the 26 year-old has now established herself as one of country music’s biggest stars.
She recently made her debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she performed “No Caller ID,” the first single off her highly-anticipated forthcoming sophomore album, “Am I Okay?”
“No Caller ID” currently has almost 40 million streams on Spotify alone (her third most-streamed song), with an additional 3 million YouTube views on just a lyric video uploaded to her channel 5 months ago.
And this past Friday, Megan gave fans in attendance of her June 28th celebration an exclusive performance of an unreleased song included in her sophomore album’s tracklist, titled “I Know You.”
While it was nothing flashy and more or less just an intimate performance between her and her fans in New York City, Megan’s raspy voice and unabashed vulnerability will captivate you damn near every time, whether she’s strumming a guitar on stage or sitting on a fold-up chair in a parking lot.
After the NYC celebration, the “I’m Not Pretty” singer took to Instagram to express her excitement and gratitude:
“28th of June it was ME & YOU!!!! yesterday i invited a few fans to NYC to hear the album early & share the stories behind each song. we laughed & cried together & it was everything i needed & more. we ended the day screaming 28th of June on a rooftop i will cherish this day forever & ever amen
IM SO EXCITED FOR JULY 12TH I THINK IM REALLY HAPPY!!!!!!“
Megan’s 12-track, sophomore studio album, “Am I Okay?” is set to drop on July 12th. Check out her recent performance of “I Know You,” live in New York here:
