“I wrote a love song and I gave it away.”
Back in 2018, Jason Aldean released “You Make It Easy,” the first single off of his 8th studio album, “Rearview Town.“
The song was a massive hit, selling 77,000 copies in its first week and went on to become Aldean’s 18th No. 1 hit at Country radio. It is also currently certified a whopping 6x platinum by the RIAA.
You Make It Easy was written by Florida Georgia Line, Jordan Schmidt and Morgan Wallen. On top of playing it live at concerts, Morgan played an acoustic version during his Tito’s Made To Order livestream back in September of 2020 and fans went crazy, wondering why he didn’t record it himself.
Aldean helped make the song what it is but I imagine it could’ve been just as big if Wallen released it. Check it out here:
