Reba’s been a busy woman.
From coaching on season 25 of The Voice, to working on her new NBC sitcom, “Happy Place,” the 69 year-old country star has showed no signs of slowing down at this stage in her career. And on top of those time consuming gigs, Reba has also been working on a new album and debuted a brand new song for the first time live last night on the hit singing competition show.
“I Can’t,” written by Victoria Banks, Tania Hancheroff and Tia Sillers, is a powerful anthem and the first new music from the country star since her acoustic record, “Not That Fancy,” released back in October of last year.
“I’m thrilled to have new music to share with my fans, and ‘I can’t’ wait to hear what they think about it. This is such a powerful song, and I’m looking forward to performing it again next week at the ACM Awards.”
Reba will return to the stage to perform “I Can’t” live on the Academy of Country Music Awards next Thursday, May 16. She will also host the show for the 17th time, more than any other host in ACM history.
Although we were all hoping for a reboot of the sitcom, “Reba,” her new show, Happy’s Place, has officially been given a series order by NBC. Reba will executive produce alongside Kevin Abbott, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis. “Reba” is now available to binge watch on Netflix.
“I Can’t” is currently available on all streaming platforms. Check out her performance live from The Voice here:
