Wasn’t havin it.
This past Friday, Scotty McCreery performed at the Big R Arena during the Colorado State Fair, and for whatever reason (probably alcohol and/or jealousy), things got a little rowdy.
About ten seconds in to his performance of “It Matters To Her,” McCreery noticed something going on in the crowd to his left and immediately stopped the show:
“Hey, hey, hey….right here. That’s a lady you just hit sir. Absolutely not. Police, security…get the heck out of here.”
You might expect fussin’ and fightin’ at a Koe Wetzel concert (pun intended), but at a show where the most “rowdy” song played might just be “Feelin It,” we are so cooked as a nation.
Many fans in the comments pointed out how classy Scotty was during the altercation, no cussing and no screaming – just takin’ care of business:
“And not one cuss word came out of his mouth. That’s class right there!!!”
“You go Scotty, well done, you handled it with respect and dignity.”
“Met Scotty’s parents last year and they were wonderful people, they definitely raised him well…”
Scotty is currently about to hit the road on his Fall of Summer Tour, which kicks off in Wauseon, OH, on September 2nd and wraps up in Hampton Beach, NH, early November. Check out the video here:
