Slow news day.
As of late, it seems as if Zach Top can do no wrong. Whether it’s bringing back the classic ’90s sound that everyone has been craving, ripping cigarettes on stage or pouring beer in his Cheerios, Zach Top has quickly become a star in the genre.
Even out of the studio, it seems like Top is gaining fans by the second, appearing with the likes of Riley Green and Post Malone in concert and providing some hilarious interview clips wherever he goes.
Yesterday, Nick & Kristen, a married radio duo based in Portland, Oregon, took to TikTok to share a recent interview with Top. In the clip, they asked him to name ’90s country stars only by their mustache.
Top was shown pictures of everyone from George Strait and Alan Jackson to Aaron Tippin and himself throughout the challenge, and unsurprisingly, he absolutely killed it.
The George Strait guess was honestly pretty impressive given that Strait himself has been clean-shaven throughout the majority of his career. When shown the photo of the “Amarillo By Morning” singer, Top showed off his knowledge of country music history, “That’s George Strait from the ‘Pure Country’ movie, ’cause he never wore a mustache.”
The comment section was pretty impressed, especially with the Aaron Tippin pull.
