In what can only be described as a tumultuous year in 2024, Zach Bryan has seemingly been in the headlines nearly every week. From winning his first Grammy Award for “I Remember Everything” in February, to scoring his first all-genre #1 album with The Great American Bar Scene to his controversial breakup with Brianna Chickenfry, Bryan has been nothing short of a phenomenon — for better or worse.
Today, he continued his massive year with a staggering 18 nominations and 21 total entries at this year’s Billboard Music Awards, beating out the likes of Morgan Wallen (15), Taylor Swift (17), Sabrina Carpenter (9), Beyoncé (3) and many more for the most-nominated artist at the award show.
His nominations include all-genre Top Artist, Top Male Artist and Top 100 Artist as well as Top Country Artist. He’s also nominated for a plethora of different album and song awards for his 2023 self-titled album, The Great American Bar Scene and “I Remember Everything.”
Bryan’s full nominations include the following:
- Top Artist
- Top Male Artist
- Top Billboard 200 Artist
- Top Hot 100 Artist
- Top Hot 100 Producer
- Top Hot 100 Songwriter
- Top Streaming Songs Artist
- Top Country Artist
- Top Country Male Artist
- Top Country Touring Artist
- Top Rock Artist
- Top Billboard 200 Album (Zach Bryan)
- Top Country Album (Zach Bryan & The Great American Bar Scene)

- Top Hot 100 Song (“I Remember Everything”)
- Top Collaboration (“I Remember Everything”)
- Top Country Song (“I Remember Everything”)
- Top Rock Song (“I Remember Everything” & “Pink Skies”)
Bryan’s lead in all-genre nominations comes just a year after Wallen took home a whopping 11 separate awards last year, primarily off of the back of the massive numbers of One Thing at a Time and “Last Night,” which ended up being the #1 all-genre song of the year on the Billboard 100.
It seems as if it’s a moot point at this rate; however, there is absolutely no denying the importance of Bryan in the genre. In a music landscape that saw Sabrina Carpenter cement herself as a current pop icon, Beyoncé record-setting success and Morgan Wallen’s continued run as a certified pop-country superstar, it was none other than Zach Bryan who was awarded the most nominations.
As mentioned previously, Wallen is also up for an incredible 15 separate nominations, including Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist and Billboard 200 Artist, which is good for the third-most behind Bryan and Swift.
Notable nominations include Treaty Oak Revival and The Red Clay Strays getting their first-ever nods in the Top Country Duo/Group category, a major win for fans of the independent scene. Beyoncé and Post Malone are also included in the Top Country Male and Female Artist categories following their first-ever
“country” albums earlier in the year.
