Somebody get the popcorn and cooler full of cold beers packed because Zach Top is headed to the big screen.
With its impressive grandeur and breathtaking Colorado backdrop, the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre has become a go-to spot for artists looking to film a live concert special. And considering Zach Top played two back-to-back sold-out shows at the venue last September, it only makes sense that he’d follow suit.
Top’s momentous two-night run from September 28 and 29 in 2025 is officially being combined into his first-ever concert film. Featuring a massive 30-song set across both shows, adding to the fanfare, Top has partnered with his clothing collaborator, Kimes Ranch, for an epic live premiere of the film.
The Washington native himself will join fans in a couple of weeks on Sunday, November 1, at the Stardust Drive-In located in Watertown, Tennessee, for an epic showcase of Live From Red Rocks: The Concert Film. He’ll also kick off the night of live music by putting on a full-blown pre-show for the crowd.
And not to worry, while I’m sure Top will perform plenty of his biggest hits, he’s also released quite a few new tracks since his Red Rocks shows and always has a few unique covers up his sleeve. So, there’s bound to be enough variety to set his mini concert apart from the concert film.
Speaking of covers though, Top’s 2025 Red Rocks shows had some pretty stellar renditions throughout both nights that will hopefully find themselves in the official film, including Shania Twain’s “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?” Merle Haggard’s “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here And Drink,” and Conway Twitty’s “Slow Hand,” to name a few.
If you’re local to the Watertown area or willing to make the trek for this one-of-a-kind event, tickets are currently on sale for $100 plus $15.55 in fees. This ticket, however, covers the cost of one car, with a maximum of 4 people— so if you’re lucky enough to have three friends, it’s not too shabby of a deal.
With that in mind, unfortunately this is not a camping-out event, and all RVs/buses are prohibited from entering. Likewise, while there will be concessions available, the “Cold Beer & Country Music” king will NOT be selling alcohol on the property.
Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with doors opening at 4 pm, approximately 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time of Top’s performance and film premiere.
Now, for those who can’t make it to the event, if you’ve made it this far into the article without being completely consumed by FOMO, don’t fret. You can still get in on the Red Rocks screening experience from the comfort of your own home, as the film will also be streaming live on YouTube alongside its in-person premiere.
