The Morgan Wallen Foundation is back at it again, donating another $20K thanks to one young fan.
The country mega star has been able to give back in a massive way over the past year thanks to a portion of each ticket on his 2026 Still The Problem Tour directly giving back to his philanthropic efforts. Wrapping up his 23 summer stadium stops earlier in August, the foundation donated well over $1 million in instruments to 26 schools across the U.S.
Extending this mission, the “TN” singer recently lent a hand in brightening up a local Knoxville music center’s lobby after one of its 10-year-old aspiring musicians reached out to Wallen via letter. The savvy fan, Madeline, spoke with WBIR10, showing off the brand-new entrance to the Joy of Music School.
She says, plain and simple, she “basically just wrote a letter and Morgan Wallen’s mom decided to help. She called up the music school…and she said, ‘Would you like some money?'” Lesli, if you’re reading this, expect a letter from me very soon (just kidding).
Madeline goes on to enthusiastically share that thanks to Wallen’s mom, a retired elementary school teacher, she was able to donate the $20K on behalf of her son’s foundation. Behind Madeline is a massive paint-splattered electric guitar mural, decked out with neon light strings and 3D knobs.
The school also has a brand new stage underneath the staggering art piece, enabling the kids to feel like they’re putting on their very own stadium-level concerts. Madeline also shows off that, with the funds, they installed booming speakers to amplify their shows and stage lights, along with a new TV.
When asked, “How does this make you feel Madeline?” she adorably nodded in excitement and, without a thought, responded, “Proud of myself.” The triple threat violinist, singer, and aspiring pianist ended her tour of the new renovations, extending the message that this is only the start for the school: “It needs more teachers, and it is basically the base of underprivileged kids who want to do music.”
Open daily, Mondays through Fridays, the nonprofit organization aims to offer disadvantaged kids and teens the opportunity to explore their musical talents by providing a space and the instruments to expand their skills. In their mission statement, they share that their goal is, “to provide high-quality music instruction, instruments, and mentorship at no cost to children who are underserved in our community. At the heart of this mission is the belief that music has the power to change lives—building confidence, nurturing creativity, and opening doors to personal and academic success.”
WBIR10 also shared a heartwarming snippet of another highly talented 10-year-old, Samuel, putting the bright new lobby to good use, serenading the room with a stunning performance of “Can’t Help Falling In Love.” Safe to say that stage is going to see quite a few standout performances thanks to Wallen, his mom, and the Joy of Music School.
