This may be the reason Morgan’s set wasn’t aired on Amazon…
Last night, Morgan Wallen headlined the final night of this year’s Stagecoach festival and brought out Post Malone to perform their brand new collaboration together, seemingly titled “I Had Some Help.”
Malone has been teasing going country for a while now. Back in June of 2022, he sat down with Howard Stern and talked about the possibilities of making a country album: “To be honest, there’s nothing stopping me from taking a camera or setting up in my studio in Utah and just recording a country album [to put] on YouTube.”
Since then, the 28 year-old rapper has famously covered songs from Sturgill Simpson, Brad Paisley, and also teased a collaboration with Luke Combs, as well as making an appearance alongside HARDY and Morgan at last year’s CMA Awards.
And during HIS set at Stagecoach this weekend, Post brought out Brad Paisley and Sara Evans and even paid tribute to Toby Keith with a performance of his 2002 hit, “Who’s Your Daddy?”
As we know right now, Amazon provided live coverage to each and every one of the headliners including Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Post Malone and more, but chose not to air Morgan last night. However, performing a (still) unreleased track might’ve just been the explanation we were looking for.
