Add Riley Green to the growing list of artists with their own bars in Nashville.
In a time where it seems like all of today’s biggest country stars are getting their own bars in Nashville, it seems that Riley Green is the next artist to receive his own venue, “Riley Green’s Duck Blind,” which will take over for the popular Midtown bar, Winners Bar & Grill.
According to The Nashville Business Journal, the “Different ‘Round Here” singer is set to be involved in a revamp of Winners Bar & Grill, which is located at 1913 Division St, Nashville, TN. A building sign permit titled, “Riley Green’s Duck Blind” was filed with Metro on August 7 for the same location as Winners.
It was reported by the bar back in March that they were closing for a “facelift” and reopening in the fall, “Out with the old, in with the new. Our beloved bar is undergoing a makeover…”
It looks like Green’s takeover of the venue is the “facelift” they were planning all along.
There are currently no details surrounding Green’s overall involvement or an official date other than the vague promise of a fall re-open. Green and Co. have yet to make an official announcement on the bar’s re-opening, so it can only be assumed that they will be making a statement on plans for the venue in the coming days.
The 2020 ACM New Male Artist of the Year winner will now join the likes of Morgan Wallen, Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and Old Dominion as artists who currently have bars located somewhere in Music City.
