Ladies and gentlemen, mark your calendars for October 18, because multi-platinum singer-songwriter Riley Green is set to release his third studio album, Don’t Mind if I Do, via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.
Today (September 3), Green broke the news at the grand opening of his bar in Music City, Riley Green’s Duck Blind. Aside from showing attendees everything that this new bar has in store, he told friends, family, and industry professionals onstage, “We couldn’t bring everyone out here to celebrate and not share more exciting news with you. My brand-new album Don’t Mind If I Do will be out October 18. It feels fitting that it’s coming out on my birthday because this project feels very true to who I am, where I come from and what I’ve learned along the way. I can’t wait for y’all to hear it!”
Shortly afterwards, Green took to social media to break the news to his supporters as well, writing “New album Don’t Mind If I Do coming October 18” in an Instagram caption to accompany the album cover.
The Alabama-born artist is said to stay true to his signature sound on Don’t Mind If I Do, essentially serving as a bigger and better version of his sophomore album that we all know and love, Ain’t My Last Rodeo.
Described as “honest, relatable and at times humorous,” the 18-track project is sure to be a smash hit, including already-released standouts like “Rather Be,” “Jesus Saves,” “Worst Way,” and more. To top it off, Don’t Mind If I Do is set to include yet another collaboration with Ella Langley, which is music to fans’ ears after the smash hit that is “you look like you love me.”
Serving as a part of Langley’s debut album, Hungover, the Green and Langley’s voices could not pair more perfectly on “you look like you love me,” with the tune garnering quite a bit traction via TikTok and peaking at number 36 on the US Billboard Hot 100. We cannot help but hope that the pair’s forthcoming collaboration, “Don’t Mind If I Do” has the same success.
Nonetheless, produced by Dann Huff, Scott Borchetta, and Jimmy Harnen — and featuring tunes written by stars like Randy Montana, Jameson Rodgers, Travis Denning, and more — Don’t Mind If I Do is certain to be nothing short of sensational, leaving everyone counting down the days until October 18.
In fact, fans could not contain their excitement to have new tunes from the “Way Out Here” singer on the horizon, taking to the comment section of his Instagram post to express their enthusiasum:
“Can’t wait @rileyduckman ❤️”
“Didn’t see that coming. Awesome!”
“October can’t come soon enough 🫡”
To accompany the opening of Riley Green’s Duck Blind and the announcement of Don’t Mind If I Do, Green also announced that he has plans to hit the road for a headlining tour in 2025. According to the talented singer-songwriter, more details will arrive shortly, so it is safe to say we will be keeping up with Green on social media for all of the updates.
