A few of country music’s rising stars are lacing up their cleats and hitting the diamond once more for the sixth annual Rock ‘N Jock Celebrity Softball Game.
Hosted by Folds of Honor Tennessee, Nashville’s First Horizon Park will host the likes of HARDY, Zach Top, Jordan Davis, Parker McCollum, Ashley Cooke, Priscilla Block, Zach John King, and more at what is known as America’s most patriotic game. First pitch will kick off at 6:30 PM on Monday, June 1, and it’s bound to not only be a great game but an exciting night for country fans.
If you recall last year, this event gifted us with the glorious sight that was Zach Top wearing a beer helmet, which he’ll hopefully sport again this time around (for re-hydration purposes, of course). Leaning into the heavy patriotic theme, Grammy Award-winning artist Lee Greenwood will also take the field for a mid-game performance of his hit, “God Bless The USA.”
And not to discredit these singers’ softball skills, but luckily joining them on the field will be pro athletes like former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, former MLB pitcher Roger “Rocket” Clemens, and X Games gold medalist Travis Pastrana. More stars are set to be announced over the next few weeks, leading up to the summer event.
The game will partner with veteran-founded sponsor Black Rifle Coffee Company as well as LKQ Corporation and Jockey to raise proceeds benefiting Folds of Honor, which provides scholarships to children and spouses of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. Over the years since its start in 2007, they’ve raised over $340 million and awarded nearly 73,000 educational scholarships.
For those hoping to attend this pre-CMA fest weekend extravaganza, Tickets are only $20 (plus taxes and fees) and will go on sale this Friday, April 3, at 10 AM CST on FirstHorizonPark.com.
