My name is Brady and I like purple flowers.

We are so back. On July 25th, the House officially approved the date for the unveiling ceremony of the new Johnny Cash statue on Capitol Hill. The event will take place next month, on September 24th at 11a.m., with plans for the man in black’s family to also be in attendance. At this point, I’m convinced Chris Stapleton could sing literally anything and it would be masterpiece. Lucky for us, Chris is as good a songwriter as he is a performer, but with a voice like that, Chris could sing a song written by a 9 year-old and it would still probably go No. 1. Back before he was the household name he is today, Chris was a prominent Nashville songwriter, pinning hits for Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Kenny Chesney, Thomas Rhett and more. One of the many songs he wrote that got overlooked, however, is a track called “Treat You…

Of course I’m writing about Chick-Fil-a on a Sunday… Well, in a surprise turn of events, Chick-Fil-a has officially been dethroned as the No. 1 fast food chain in America. Not only did the christian chicken company fall off the top spot after nine straight years, it now comes in third place with voters, according to USA Today’s annual reader-ranked survey. What’s even more surprising is whom took them over. Coming in at second place is none other than the colonel with his Kentucky Fried Chicken. Now look, I love me a good 10 piece bucket from time to time (when…
