My name is Brady and I like purple flowers.

Don’t get no better than these two. Earlier this month, George Strait and Chris Stapleton brought the second leg of their joint-headlining stadium tour to the Bank of America Stadium where they performed for a sold-out crowd in Charlotte, North Carolina. Per usual, tons of live performance videos surfaced on TikTok, and the one that stood out to me the most this time around was the duo’s cover of Townes Van Zandt’s 1972 hit, “Pancho and Lefty.” Although it is arguably Van Zandt’s biggest song to date, “Pancho and Lefty” has been covered numerous times, most notably by Merle Haggard…

One of the most iconic Country songs of the 2000’s. Zac Brown Band has been known for a TON of popular songs throughout their lengthy career. Right up there with “Toes,” I’d say their debut single “Chicken Fried” is arguably their biggest single to date. Released on June 16th, 2008, and written by Brown, as well as Wyatt Durrette, Chicken Fried was actually originally recorded in 2003 but wasn’t released to radio until after the band signed to Live Nation Records. Fun fact; the song was also recorded and released as a single by The Lost Trailers in 2006 but…

Throwback Thursday. Back before Chris Stapleton was widely viewed as one of the greatest Country singers of all time, he was a songwriter in Nashville crankin’ out hits for other artists. One of the songs that Chris co-wrote, alongside Casey Beathard and Rucker himself, was “Come Back Song,” the RIAA certified platinum lead single and No. 1 hit from Darius Rucker’s 2010 sophomore album, “Charleston, SC 1966.” Darius has admitted in the past that he almost didn’t record the song after hearing the demo sang by Chris Stapleton. (I mean, can ya blame him?) ” I could never sing it…

A night to remember for Patriots fans. Last night, Gillette Stadium hosted it’s first-ever induction ceremony for New England legend, and the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady. While there were quite a few memorable moments during the ceremony, perhaps the most significant was the No. 12 jersey being retired and Brady’s speech acknowledging the ongoing debate of who is responsible for the Patriots dynasty, Tom Brady or coach Bill Belichick? While we all know Tom Brady went on to win another Super Bowl with the Bucs and Bruce Arians at 43 years-old, the GOAT had this to say…

Good time to be a Riley Green fan. Fresh off the release of his 7-track EP, “Way Out Here,” back in April, Riley is already teasing new music for fans on social media.
