Back in 2014, George Strait was out on the road for the second leg of his Cowboy Rides Away Tour, featuring a ton of artists such as Eric Church, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and more. Six years ago… Back in July of 2017, Tyler Childers covered Hank Williams’ classic, “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” at The Slaughtered Lamb in London. Childers has included this song in his setlist on a handful of other occasions, but for some odd reason, I’m pretty addicted to this select video. So Lonesome I Could Cry was originally written and recorded at the Herzog Studio by Hank back in 1949 and still remains popular within the genre today. One of the most iconic Country songs of the 2000’s. Zac Brown Band has been known for a TON of popular songs throughout their lengthy career. Right up there with “Toes,” I’d say their debut single “Chicken Fried” is arguably their biggest single to date. This morning, ERNEST took to Instagram to share his cover of “Slow Dancing In A Burning Room,” the popular 2006 deep cut by John Mayer. The “new era” of PRT continues… Pecos & The Rooftops recently released their latest single, “Last Thing I Remember,” and the music video is officially out now. Once again directed by Wales Toney, who’s also responsible for “Last Night’s Lashes” and the video for the bands massive hit “This Damn Song,” the music video depicts a couple in a toxic (and potentially abusive) relationship, with the main focus seemingly put on the guy.
