Country music enthusiast and avid drinker of alcohol. Old Aldean is better than your favorite artist. (except for Zach Top)

$45 for both days, yeah you read that right. If you thought that there were more country festivals now more than ever, you would be correct. With new festival lineups seemingly dropping on social media every other week, it may be hard to decide on which one(s) to attend. With some pretty heavy hitting lists of performers already announced for Two Step Inn, Cattle Country, Tailgate N’ Tallboys, as well as Morgan Wallen’s inaugural Sand In My Boots Fest in Gulf Shores Alabama, there’s just one problem for many ordinary fans – the prices. And don’t get me wrong, the pricing…

As someone with a diverse music taste, especially when it comes to Country music, I’ve found that it’s still easier to discuss what I don’t like within the genre, rather than what I do like. When approached with the question, “What type of Country do you listen to?”, 90’s (of course) always comes to mind, as well as the Texas music scene. But then my brain goes “Oh! I like this as well,” and then I find myself on a 3-minute spiel about this project from this artist and so on. Maybe it just boils down to the fact that I’m a very passionate Country music fan, but…

I’d pay GOOD money to witness this many legendary artists on one stage again. Back in 2015, (which is now ten years ago, holy sh*t), a plethora of country music’s biggest stars teamed up at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas to pay tribute to the legendary, Waylon Jennings. Nearly two years later, CMT aired the special event for those who weren’t able to make it out to the Lonestar state, titled Outlaw: Celebrating the Music of Waylon Jennings. Throughout the event, fans witnessed a performance of “Lonesome, On’ry and Mean” from Eric Church, a cover of “I Ain’t Living…

We need a cover album ASAP. It’s no secret (or at least it shouldn’t be anyway), that Zach Top is emerging himself as one of the biggest country artists in the genre. While Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan overwhelmingly dominate streaming numbers, Top is bringing back that traditional 80’s and 90’s sound country music fans clearly still crave, and doing it extremely well I might add. While his original music, especially the songs from his recent sophomore studio album, “Cold Beer & Country Music,” are nothing short of incredible, the man does every artist before him justice when he adds his smooth and twangy vocals into the mix.…

We need a studio version of this immediately. Back in 2020, Chris Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, stopped by the Bobby Bones show and performed a cover of Lee Ann Womack’s signature hit song from the year 2000, “I Hope You Dance.” Written by Mark Sanders and Tia Sillers, the 2x platinum certified song featured harmonies from Sons Of The Desert and is still the only No. 1 both artists have had in their careers to this day. I Hope You Dance went on to win Single Of The Year at both the 2001 CMA Awards and ACM’s, as well as a Grammy for Best Country Song.…
