Last night’s American Idol episode rounded out the final 10 performances of singers in the remaining Top 20 of the competition. With the contestants once again backed by the gorgeous views of Disney’s Aulani Resort and alongside the mentorship of Brad Paisley & Keke Palmer, the 24th season brought the show one step closer to its Final 14. Arguably one of the best and most authentic performances of the night came from one of the youngest contestants remaining, 17-year-old Lucas Leon. Leon, who admittably fangirled at the sight of his musical icon, Brad Paisley, decided to sing another ’90s country…

America fell in love with idol contestant Hannah Harper thanks to the initial viral audition of her original song, “String Cheese.” Written as a reflection of her struggle with postpartum depression following the birth of her third child, her stunning vocals during the performance not only solidified her as a fan-favorite but also moved Carrie Underwood and the viewers at home with no dry eyes. Insanely, Langley’s rise to the top on this all-genre chart as a solo female artist, in and of itself, was a MAJOR accomplishment. This past February,…

If anyone could truly do justice to a song by the King, it’d be none other than legendary country vocalists Jamie Johnson and Lee Ann Womack. In this now 17-year-old throwback, the two joined forces in honor of George Strait’s ACM Artist of the Decade All-Star Concert. Highlighting the Texas legend and his career-defining hits, fittingly, Johnson took the reins on this 2006 track that he wrote alongside Bill Anderson and Buddy Cannon. What eventually became Strait’s 41st number one hit, a milestone that surpassed Conway Twitty’s record of 40 chart-toppers at the time, can all be thanks to Johnson’s…

The Texas native’s been vocal in the past on numerous occasions that he’s always dreamt of beating George Strait’s 2019 record of 80,108 fans present at his March show. Sure enough, 7 years later, Johnson has now surpassed the king, thanks to a whopping 80,203 fans in attendance. With the night ushered in by supporting acts Jon Pardi and Randy Houser, the “Dear Rodeo” singer also had a few surprise appearances up his sleeve…
