On September 25th, Cody Johnson officially announced he’d be hittin the road next year on “The Leather Tour” with Justin Moore and Dillon Carmichael.
In support of his upcoming album, “Leather,” set to drop on November 3rd, CoJo took to social media today to announce he’s added an additional 16 shows, extending the tour until late August.
Kickin’ off in Sacramento, California at the Golden 1 Center on January 19th, the opening acts will also feature Chris Janson and Drake Milligan at select dates.
CoJo has released three songs from the upcoming record so far; “The Painter,” Work Boots” and “Watching My Old Flame.” One thing we also know is the record is expected to feature a duet with Carrie Underwood that should (hopefully) blow us away.
Leather, as well as Chris Stapleton’s “Higher,” (both slated for a November release) seem to be the most highly-anticipated albums left of 2023 and if there’s any indication from their previous catalogs, they shouldn’t disappoint.
