I’m pretty sure this exact scenario happened in my dream last night as well.
One Oklahoma fan currently has half the internet punching the wall in jealousy and the other half convinced they just watched a real-life rom-com unfold after Riley Green invited a girl from the crowd to sing with him on stage. During night one of the “My Way” singer’s run at the Choctaw Grand Theater in Durant, this past Friday, October 2, Green plucked a fan from the front row to help him sing his Ella Langley duet, “You Look Like You Love Me.”
Now, sure, this is nothing new for Green, who’s been known to graciously share the stage with aspiring fans. But this moment in particular clearly made the girl’s day. The fan, Reese Nikole, who posted the insane moment to her TikTok @reeseslyfe._, shared footage of herself getting lifted onto the stage before absolutely crushing the nerve-racking duet, all while her mom watched the whole thing over FaceTime from the crowd.
Delivering the 2024 hit confidently alongside the man himself, it’s safe to say Reese gained the approval of Green, who was cheesin’ wide, and also changed the lyrics to fit the Oklahoma native and her white cowgirl boots. Based on the nearly 1M views on the now-viral clip and a comment section filled with fans equally in awe, I’d say she made a good impression.
And to really add to the fairytale scenario, Green kept things going with his newfound duet partner, inviting her back on stage for the second night in a row during Saturday’s Oklahoma show on Oct. 3. Before launching into the 4x-platinum single, he told the crowd, “I had a very talented young lady get up here out of the crowd last night… and she’s here again. So we might as well do it again.”
He noted, “If she can climb up here again, she can sing.” Sure enough, she hoisted herself back onto the stage, reassumed her spot beside Green and once again wowed the crowd with her rendition — this time, surely with a little more confidence under her belt. Because truly, there’s gotta be no better confidence boost than having the Alabama superstar and The Voice coach decide you’re good enough to share the stage with him two nights in a row.
Safe to say the internet is convinced these two are in love, but then again that seems to always be the case when Green stands side by side with any girl— even the elderly. With just five stops left on the remainder of Green’s 2026 Cowboy As It Gets tour, there’s bound to be some final memory-making moments at these last few shows wrapping up on December 12 in Naples, Florida.
Not to fret, though, he’s also got a stacked 2027 ahead of him, with a loaded lineup of festival dates and his newly announced That’s Just Me Tour kickstarting in April.

- October 30 – Nashville
