It’s official: Florida Georgia Line is officially heading out on tour in 2027.
This past summer has been an FGL frenzy following the duo’s exciting CMA Fest reunion, spawning endless rumors and wishful thinking of what was to come next for the 2010s staples. Well, now we can officially confirm that all that speculation wasn’t for nothing after the duo’s official announcement of their 2027 Anything Goes Again: The Festival Tour.
You read that correctly. The boys are focusing on their first tour back after a four-year hiatus with solely festival dates rather than hitting up arena or stadium shows. After previous hints, yesterday FGL kicked off their stop announcements with the exciting news that they’ll perform as Thursday night’s kick-off show during Stagecoach in April.
Expanding on their California show, this tour has just a dozen dates lined up in total, which will roll out in the coming weeks. And if their official social media graphic is any indication of the timeline for these appearances, the Grammy Award-nominated duo will have a few more shows prior to Stagecoach, with a majority following throughout the summer.
Amping up for yet another on-stage reunion, one-half of the duo, Tyler Hubbard, shared, “Seeing the fans get excited about us being back together and hearing how much these songs still mean to them has been really special. We’ve felt a lot of love, and it feels good to be back up there together and sharing these songs with everybody again.”
Brain Kelley echoed the anticipation, noting the unbeatable energy of getting to run back their legendary fan favorite era once more, “These songs have taken on a life of their own over the years, and getting back onstage together really reminded me of that.” Adding, “We picked right back up where we left off, and there’s definitely something special about getting to do this again.”
As major festivals across the country continue to roll out their lineups, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing plenty more of FGL from coast to coast this year. I’ll certainly be watching their socials like a hawk as we wait for those inevitable dates to drop.
In the meantime, keep an eye on FGL’s social media, website, and, of course, Country Chord as more news continues to roll out.
